James Ryan Jillson, General Director

James Ryan Jillson is the Co-Founder and General Director of The [Untitled] Festival in Dallas, a series that fosters the development and accessibility of contemporary performing arts. Since 2010, James has served as the Production Manager for the Instrumental Program at the Music Academy of the West in Santa Barbara. Prior to his time at the Music Academy, James worked with the renowned Camerata Pacifica, also based in Santa Barbara, where he played a significant role in organizing the ensemble’s first international tour. James is currently a student at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, where he was the recipient of a 2012 Big iDeasGrant. He studies music, arts management, and arts entrepreneurship.

Katrina Leshan, Associate Director (Education)

Originally from Las Vegas, NV, Katrina Leshan is in her fourth year at the Meadows School of the Arts, pursuing a Bachelor of Music Degree in Classical Guitar Performance and participating in the University’s Honors Program. She studies with world-renowned guitarist Robert Guthrie and gives recitals at SMU each semester. In April 2011, Katrina and her partner took first place in the Brownsville Guitar Competition in the Duo Category. Katrina traveled to Blonay, Switzerland in June 2011 to participate in the Music11 Festival, where she premiered new chamber works with the Grammy Award-winning ensemble eighth blackbird. In July 2012 she traveled to Maccagno, Italy to premiere new chamber works in the soundSCAPE festival’s eighth season. She hopes to pursue a Masters of Music degree in fall 2013 and seeks the opportunity to travel and be involved in innovative chamber music.

Shannon Delatorre, Associate Director (Community Relations)

Originally from Tampa, Florida, Shannon Delatorre is currently studying Art History, Arts Management, and Business at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. She is the Associate Director (Community Relations) of The [Untitled] Festival. She is also currently an intern at APLive, whose next event includes the Virol Arts and Music Fest at the American Airlines Center this November. She has previously worked as a Gallery Assistant at RO2 Art Gallery, also in Dallas. After graduation, Shannon plans to pursue graduate work studying business, and she hopes to eventually work in the music industry or museum studies. She is an avid Harry Potter reader, country listener, and reality television watcher.
